1. Don’t leave it unattended.
2. Never leave your laptop in a car.
3. Stay close to it in public areas.
4. At hotels, lock it in a safe when not in use.
5. Whenever possible, secure your laptop with a security cable.
6. Set a strong password.
7. Lock the screen when you’re not nearby.
