Basic first aid guidelines:

● Don’t put yourself or others at risk.

● Use conversation and touch techniques to get the injured person to respond.

● Seek help and call emergency personnel and services.

● Get permission to assess injuries if the person is conscious.

● Stay with the person until help arrives, avoiding unnecessary movement.
